Vale Southern Construction has completed the construction of a new £3.3m residential development on Hayling Island.
Following the demolition of existing buildings, the Portsmouth-based contractor redeveloped the site of a former petrol station to create the three-storey building.
A total of 19 apartments ranging from one to two bedrooms form part of the scheme, most of which back onto Hayling Park. Vale Southern was responsible for both the construction and fit-out of the new homes, which feature high-specification kitchens, high-quality wall tiles and flooring. The apartments also benefit from onsite car parking and either a balcony or garden.
Adding to the development are two commercial units which have been built on the ground floor.
Oliver West, Managing Director of Vale Southern Construction, said: “The building’s architectural curves and its location on a highly constrained site on Station Road made for a challenging build. Specialist skills and stringent site management were essential to deliver the project while minimising disruption to local roads.
“The development is an impressive addition to West Hayling, which has transformed a redundant site. Residents will benefit from modern new homes with great views and easy access to local amenities.”
The development, named Park View Apartments, was brought forward by D&L Southern Ltd.
