My wife and I are very pleased with the new home that Vale Southern built for us. It was a difficult task made even more arduous by the pandemic. Throughout the build, Vale Southern accommodated our frequent visits and suggestions.

We love the detailed, intricate work that went into critical internal features such as the balcony and stairs. Externally, the strength and solid build of the buttresses and walls was just what we wanted. Overall, this is our perfect retirement home.

During 2023 and 2024 we carried out a major refurbishment of our 6,000 sft house in Surrey. Logistics were incredibly difficult and so we chose a building firm that had experience in similar situations. The project was based on a prime cost contract and took 10 months to complete (as planned), despite the added complexities uncovered along the way (including architect’s drawings that were not sufficiently detailed).

I cannot recommend Vales highly enough – particularly if you are looking for trustworthy/straightforward builders, with an eye for detail and ability to take on complex logistics.

We have found Vale Southern a refreshingly easy contractor to deal with, the entire team performed to a highly professional level. Any difficulties/obstacles were dealt with in a timely manner, and we were kept fully updated at all times.

Any sub-contractors used also produced work to a high standard with project manager Jon James and his site manager constantly monitoring the standards.
